Adaptation and Psychometric Properties of an Instrument to Assess Self-Efficacy in Client-Centeredness (SECCQ)

This article assesses the reliability and validity of Self-Efficacy in Client-Centredness questionnaire (SECCQ). SECCQ social worker students’ subjective belief their ability to provide client-centered care daily interaction with children or families. Self-efficacy is defined as an individual’s judgments concerning capability perform certain skills necessary attain a desired outcome behavior. Client-centeredness, on other hand, relates how workers treat clients, not only from clinical perspective, but also emotional, mental, perspective. Overall findings demonstrate that this has satisfying psychometric properties high reliability. Hence, may be valuable tool for raising awareness self-efficacy evaluation student learning outcomes.
